Foundation Nail Technician

The Foundation Nail Technician course is the first step on the ladder to achieving a career as a nail technician. You don't need any previous experience in nail technology as our accomplished trainers will lead you in comprehensive stages through the course. Once completed you will be able to competently apply nail enhancments to the natural nail.

Over the two day course you will cover all of the course content below:

The Nail course covers the following:

Nail preparation/basic manicure. (Not a full manicure and pedicure course but nail prep in accordance with the required prep for nail extension work as this differs from a full manicure.)

You will cover nail disorders and diseases, different types of nail.
Nail tip application and blending. Resin and uses.
Acrylic liquid and powder overlay systems, infill information.
Silk overlay systems infill information.
Fibre glass overlay systems, infill information.
(Infill information is in the manuals and a demonstration will be shown should it occur within the session or upon request)
Gel overlay systems ( including coloured semi permanent varnish), infill information.
